Two versions of these terms exist because two contracts exist. If you subscribe in US dollars, this English text is the binding version and Article 13 sets out the terms of that subscription. If you subscribe in Korean won through Toss Payments, the Korean text at healthjangbu.com/terms is the binding version and this English text is a translation for convenience. Healthjangbu is operated from the Republic of Korea by Soksu.
These terms set out the rights, obligations and responsibilities between Soksu (the “Company”) and users of the Healthjangbu service (the “Service”).
This Article applies only where you subscribe in US dollars. Where it differs from any other Article, this Article prevails for those subscriptions. Subscriptions purchased in Korean won through Toss Payments are unaffected by it.
Who you are contracting with. Two contracts are formed. The Service itself is supplied and licensed to you by the Company (Soksu, business registration 795-04-03705, Rm 1026, 23 Cheonho-daero, Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul, Republic of Korea; healthjangbu@gmail.com; +82-502-1936-7123) under these terms. The purchase is concluded with Lemon Squeezy (Sold Through Link, LLC, 222 South Main Street Suite 500, Salt Lake City, Utah 84101, USA) acting as merchant of record: it takes the payment, calculates and remits any tax, issues the receipt, and is the name that appears on your card statement.
Price, tax and renewal. US$39 per month or US$390 per year. Prices are exclusive of tax; Lemon Squeezy adds any VAT, GST or sales tax due where you live, so the amount debited may be higher than the listed price, and the total is shown before you pay. The subscription begins with a 7-day free trial and, unless cancelled before the trial ends, converts automatically and is charged to your payment method — and again each month or each year until you cancel. The date and amount of the first charge are shown on the checkout screen before you subscribe and repeated in the confirmation you receive.
Cancelling. You may cancel at any time, at will, with no notice period and without contacting anyone: open Settings > Manage account in Healthjangbu and follow the cancellation link to the Lemon Squeezy customer portal, signing in with the email address you purchased with. Cancelling stops all future charges and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. No advance-notice period applies, and nothing you are told elsewhere requiring you to give notice before cancelling has any effect on this.
Right of withdrawal (EEA and United Kingdom). If you are a consumer habitually resident in the EEA or the UK, you may withdraw from this contract within 14 days of the day it is concluded — that is, from the day you sign up, not from the first charge — without giving a reason. Because the free trial is shorter than that period, a charge may already have been taken when you withdraw; in that case we refund what you paid, less an amount proportionate to the Service supplied up to the moment you told us. The Refund Policy sets out how to withdraw and includes a model form you may use but are not obliged to use. You can also send your withdrawal notice online at any time using the withdrawal function at healthjangbu.com/withdraw, which records the time we receive it and confirms receipt by email.
Conformity and updates. The Company supplies the Service in conformity with these terms and with what may reasonably be expected of a service of this kind, and provides the updates, including security updates, needed to keep it in conformity for as long as your subscription lasts. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits your statutory remedies for a lack of conformity, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Price changes. The Company gives at least 30 days' notice by email before a price change takes effect at your next renewal, stating the new price, the date it applies and how to cancel, and you may cancel before it takes effect without penalty. Where the law of your country or state instead requires your consent to an increase, or a pro-rata refund if you cancel shortly after one, that requirement applies.
Complaints and out-of-court redress. Write to healthjangbu@gmail.com; we reply within 7 days. The Company is not obliged to use, and does not currently participate in, any alternative dispute resolution body. Consumers in the EEA can get free assistance from the European Consumer Centre in their country; consumers in the UK can contact Citizens Advice.
Where we sell. Paid subscriptions are not currently offered in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, and purchases cannot be completed from those countries. This is a deliberate limitation while we put the data protection arrangements those markets require in place; we will announce it here when they open. Purchases also cannot be completed from countries our merchant of record does not support, or that are subject to applicable sanctions or export-control law.
Governing law, courts and language. These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Korea. If you are a consumer, that choice does not deprive you of the protection of any provision that cannot be derogated from by agreement under the law of your country of habitual residence, and nothing in these terms waives or limits any right you have under the consumer protection law of your state or country, or the authority of any regulator to enforce it. The courts of Seoul have non-exclusive jurisdiction; nothing prevents you from bringing proceedings in the courts of your own country where the law allows it. For subscriptions purchased in US dollars, the English text of these terms is the binding version.
Personal data you upload about your clients. Where you are established in the EEA or the United Kingdom, you are the controller and the Company is the processor for the client records you put into the Service. Those roles, and the Article 28 GDPR terms that govern them, are set out in the Data Processing Agreement at healthjangbu.com/dpa, which forms part of these terms and applies without a separate signature.
Change of merchant of record. The Company may change its merchant of record or payment provider on reasonable notice. Your subscription and its price are unaffected, and the cancellation route will be restated to you at that time.
These terms take effect on 28 April 2026. The previous one-off payment terms remain in force, for the remainder of the period paid for, in respect of payments made before that date. Article 13 was added on 15 August 2026, when subscriptions began to be sold in US dollars.
