Effective 28 April 2026
If you subscribe in US dollars, this English text is the binding version and Article 9 sets out how refunds and withdrawal work for that subscription. If you subscribe in Korean won through Toss Payments, the Korean text at healthjangbu.com/refund is the binding version and this English text is a translation for convenience.
This policy governs recurring billing, cancellation and refunds for the Healthjangbu paid service (the Pro plan).
Refunds of charges made after the free trial are handled as follows.
This rule rests on Article 17(2)5 of the Korean Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce (「전자상거래 등에서의 소비자보호에 관한 법률」), which limits withdrawal from a purchase where divisible digital content has been partly supplied. By agreeing at checkout you are treated as having read and accepted that limitation.
In the following cases the full amount is refunded regardless of Article 5.
This Article applies only where you subscribe in US dollars. Where it differs from Articles 1–8, this Article prevails for those subscriptions.
Who issues the refund. Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record and executes every refund; Soksu decides and instructs it. Lemon Squeezy may also issue a refund of its own accord within 60 days of purchase, so you may occasionally receive one we did not grant. You can contact either of us — healthjangbu@gmail.com, or Lemon Squeezy through the customer portal.
Your 14-day right of withdrawal (EEA and United Kingdom). If you are a consumer habitually resident in the EEA or the UK, you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of signing up, without giving a reason. This right is not affected by the free trial and you do not lose it by starting to use the Service. Because the trial is 7 days, a charge may already have been taken by the time you withdraw — in that case we refund what you paid, keeping only an amount proportionate to the part of the billing period you had access to before you told us. We acknowledge your withdrawal by email, and reimburse within 14 days of being informed, by the same means of payment, at no cost to you.
How to withdraw. The quickest way is the online withdrawal function at healthjangbu.com/withdraw — it records the time we receive your notice and emails you a confirmation to keep. You can also send an unambiguous statement by email to healthjangbu@gmail.com, or by post to Soksu, Rm 1026, 23 Cheonho-daero, Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul, Republic of Korea. You may use the model form below, but you do not have to; any clear statement is enough, and sending it before the 14 days expire is enough even if it reaches us later.
*Model withdrawal form — To Soksu, Rm 1026, 23 Cheonho-daero, Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul, Republic of Korea, healthjangbu@gmail.com: I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the supply of the Healthjangbu service. Ordered on [date]. Name of consumer. Address of consumer. Signature (only if this form is notified on paper). Date.*
Cancelling instead of withdrawing. Cancelling is not the same thing as withdrawing. Cancel at any time in the Lemon Squeezy customer portal: future charges stop, you keep access to the end of the period already paid for, and no refund arises for the remainder of that period. Withdrawal, where it applies, gives you money back.
Price increases. Where your local law entitles you to cancel with a pro-rata refund after a price increase you did not agree to — as New York does, for 14 days after the first increased charge — that right applies, and Articles 5 and 6 do not restrict it.
Before you dispute a charge with your bank. Please contact us or Lemon Squeezy first; almost everything is settled faster that way. Raising a bank dispute is your right and this request does not limit it.
Statutory rights. Nothing in this policy removes a right you have under the mandatory consumer law of the country or state where you live, including any statutory cancellation, withdrawal or refund right, and nothing here limits the authority of a regulator to enforce it.
Effective 28 April 2026. The previous one-off payment refund policy continues to apply to payments made before that date.
